Although, I've been writing "The Game" for the last few years, I thought it would be cool to document our work on this website as we march towards production in the summer of 2027.
For the past few weeks, I've been building this website, and getting our Go Fund Me ready for launch on my birthday, which is tomorrow 5/12. I turn 52 years old, and will be spending the next 52 weeks putting the people in place to get this show from page to the stage.
I've also toured a couple of theaters, Bramble, The Edge, and very soon I'll be touring Theatre Wit. The theater's schedules are tight and it seems as though we will probably be opening in either mid-July of 2027, or early August.
The most important thing I've been doing is contacting the amazing artists I know I want for this project and checking their availability. More on that to come, but most of the performers and designers already work with Trap Door Theatre and Hell in a Handbag Productions, and I want to build a strong team.
